Today my guest is an author who seeks to live out her faith in so many different ways throughout her life.

Kimberly MacNeill is an advocate for women in her community and is one of those women who, when you meet her, you instantly want her to become your new best friend. We met while collaborating on an event for Women in the Workplace, which is both of our passions. Kimberly is the minister to women at a church her in the Nashville area and she is the author of Whispers: Transforming Word for you Ever-Changing Life.

Kimberly also speaks all around the country to women about going deeper in their Christian faith and their ever-changing life. Her story is different in that her speaking and teaching ministry came first and then she wrote her book. Listen as she speaks more about preaching & being an author. Here is my conversation with Kimberly MacNeill.

A few years ago I found myself watching this cooking show on Youtube. Little did I know that this cook was also an amazing director. Tamra Davis began her career directing music videos for acts like Hanson, Bangles, Brittany Spears, Depeche Mode, and the Beastie Boys. Side note: Tamra married Mike D of the Beastie Boys back in 1993. She has since directed feature films such as Billy Madison & Half Baked. Now you will find her directing for tv on shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Ugly Betty, and my two favorites, Odd Mom Out & Younger. Just to name of few.

Listen as Tamra and I discuss women directors and how she is on a mission to help empower women in authority positions. We also talk about some of the talented actresses she has worked with on these shows. Every Morsel of this interview is priceless and I can't wait for you to hear her story.

My special guest for this Mother's Day show will be Anna LeBaron who has written the newly released book The Polygamist Daughter. She was on Rising Stories episode #28 and I have asked her back to talk about her tough upbringing, her relationship with her mother and the mother figures in her life.

Sometimes our relationships with our moms are difficult and less than ideal. Anna shares her story of how redemption and restoration took place in her life.

This show touches on hope for estranged mother & daughter relationships and emotional health.

I also tell you how I like to spend my Mother's Day.
