My guest today is Tiffany Bluhm. Tiffany is a bible study leader, speaker and writer, who has been featured on ScaryMommy.com, and World Vision magazine. She also writes bible studies for The You Version bible app (it’s that bible app that we all have on our phones)

Her current study is called Flourish: 21 Ways to Thrive by 45
Tiffany shares her story with us about how she was abandoned by her parents as a child and how she now devotes her time helping other women with self esteem and how to fill that father shaped hole.

Tiffany also leads a bible study called Sip at The Table with women who are committed to growth, wholeness and healing. They are learning how to lean in, when to walk away and when to wait it out.

My guest for Rising Stories #41 is Michelle Chalfant. Licensed therapist and Holistic coach who uses a unique model in her work to help people live an authentic and empowered life. This model is called  the Adult Chair.
"This model outlines for us what a healthy adult looks like and helps us to move into that "chair" when we notice we are not."

Also, you might have seen a few of her meditation videos on Facebook or YouTube. Michelle is also a fellow podcaster and writer, so we talk about how she runs her business and how she herself lives an authentic life. We met as two soccer moms and soon found our commonality in that we both coach and we both have podcasts. It was a very fun interview with a dear friend.

Today on Rising Stories Podcast #40, I had the privilege of interviewing two ladies who started a unique business in the Greater Nashville area. They are the owners and founders of Nashville Doula Services.  Merrill Durham and Whitney Cantrell started their journey as doulas themselves. They soon realized that they could share this wonderful service and experience with more women if they expanded. They now have a full team of doulas and child birthing services.

During our chat we talked about the role of the doula during childbirth, how they are being intentional with their time as business owners and the importance of self-care. I was so impressed with their outlook on their partnership and how they balance family, friendships and business. I know you will enjoy hearing their story. If you or someone you know is having a baby soon, tell them to contact Nashville Doula Services to find out more about these amazing ladies.
