My guest today on Rising Stories is an author that writes books for those young middle years. So if you have a son or daughter in middle school this interview would be a great one to share with them.

Victoria Kimble has written a 4 book series called Choir Girls. On this show she shares her own story about the loneliest time in her life and what she turned to during that season. She also talks about who inspired her to write and what she loves about having lived a “vanilla life”. She’ll explain what that means in the show. I also find out that Victoria has another creative side I didn’t know about. Listen to find out more.

My guest for Rising Stories Podcast episode #47 is Emmy Singer. Emmy and her husband have opened Inner Light Yoga, a yoga studio, here in the heart of Nashville.

Emmy and I chat about the steps she took that turned her dream into reality. She also talks about making a huge turn around in her life after moving to California in 2015.

One of our conversations centered around the time that she found direction and purpose after having lunch with a friend. Emmy also tells us her word for 2017 and how it has served her in opening her brick and mortar business.

My guests today, are a team of two who are heading up a ministry called Dauntless Grace. Megan Hall and Deedra Mager found women with stories of redemption, healing and freedom. They decided then to share these stories and their own with other women who needed to be freed. They are meeting these women where they are and helping them move out of their broken stories and into an authentic community. They began as an online community and then started a blog where women faced those hard questions and became vulnerable to walk Dauntlessly in Grace.

Listen as Megan and Deedra share their road from blog posts to writing a book to holding conferences for women who wish to walk fearlessly.
