On today's episode, I will be sharing 5 networking tips to prepare you for your next networking event as business owners and for all job seekers. These are not your ordinary networking tips, because these will take the focus off of us and put the focus on helping others. We will take the pressure off of networking and create a very simple plan to connect on a more meaningful level.

I'll also share my favorite app, Nashville burger place and so much more.

Today girls are facing so many messages about their bodies, who and what they should be when they grow up, it can be overwhelming for 10-14 year olds.

My guest today, Courtenay Rogers, COO of Girls to the Moon is working on making the world better for young girls. She is Co-Founder of an online resource and local events program for young girls and their moms.

Courtenay and I talk about those middle school years for girls and how she is teaching them to be their best selves. Listen as she shares more about girl power and how she runs this company.

Girls to the Moon and Rising Stories will be giving away a free Star Level membership to one lucky listener. More info at the end of the show.

My guest on episode #63 of Rising Stories is Mallory Swain. She is an Integrative Health Coach here in the Nashville area. Mallory and I talk about what an integrative health coach does and how she helps her clients feel better and eat better.

She also shares her story about how she got very sick and what she did to turn her health around.  Of course we also talk about FOOD! Cauliflower, almond flour, meal planning. She explains her "what not to wear for your pantry"approach.

IT’S basically a great show because we all need tips on how to eat better, right? Plus Mallory tells me about her favorite Vegan Nashville restaurant and what she recommends off the menu.

Voxer & Slack are my two favorite apps this season. They keep me on top of things and organized.
