On episode #85 I talk about taking the time to reflect and learn from the previous year. It's so important to look back and see your past year in review before setting goals for the new one. Reflection is key to goal setting and finding your focus. Taking a glance at your work, your accomplishments and yes even your failures can make for an even better new year. I'll share some tips on how to review effectively and the importance of setting goals with a coach.

I also chat about that one word that helps me move forward all year long. Let's move into this new year together. #onewordstory

On episode #84 I am chatting with Kelsey Aldinger and Kelsey Baty from The Kitchey Kountdown Podcast. Last month they had me on their show to talk about working a side hustle with confidence, consistency and credibility. We had so much fun that I just had to have them on my show.

These two friends share a passion for words and together they are making a space in their community for women to feel understood and united.

On the show today we talk about women who are keeping it real and who inspire us to keep following our dreams. Kelsey and Kelsey share why these women are worthy of following.

We also chat about some fun podcasts, make up and of course our favorite apps. You will absolutely love their answers.

On this show you will hear more about a place that needs your funds this Christmas season. It's the KKumi Project: a place in the Wakiso District of Uganda. KKumi means 10 in Luganda. There are ten boys who need your help this season, help them become Rising Stories by giving what you can this year. Every gift counts. Join me and Give HERE

My guest for episode #83 is Michele Brown. Michele caught my eye on Instagram and I knew that I had to have her on the show. She is beautiful and her photos are amazing. SweetThreadsCo on Instagram features her day to day home build and it is gorgeous. During my conversation with Michele we talk about the ups and downs of Instagram, how she started her Etsy account and her favorite Nashville restaurants. It was beyond fun and jam packed with some great information like shadow banning on Instagram, to Benjamin Moore paints to the new app called Like to Know. You will truly enjoy our conversation.

Today on the show I am talking to Lincee Ray, author of a book called I hate Green Beans, (she explains why she chose this title in the show), she also has a blog by that name. But that is not all,  Lincee’s claim to FAME is that she began writing episode recaps for The Bachelor. She began writing these commentary recaps back when the bachelor was just a little tv show that we all thought would not get picked up for another season. When the Bachelor took off, so did Lincee’s writing. She is now a full time writer and writes for Entertainment Weekly, Associated Press and Huffington Post, just to name a few.  Lincee and I talked about how she got start as a writer, our favorite Disney treat and of course reality TV.

October is breast cancer awareness month and my guest today is no stranger to the struggles and challenges of cancer.

She has written a book called Lavender Hair that follows her fight against breast cancer and her journey to wholeness. You might know her best from a show called Saturday Night Live.  She was part of the SNL cast 1986 to 1992.

She is comedian, writer, speaker and now breast cancer survivor. Victoria and I met a few months ago and right away I knew that she needed to be on my show. Not because she is an author, or was on SNL but because she is a women with so much gusto and tenacity to keep rising in her career even after being diagnosed with cancer.

Victoria and I talked about how a working woman functions within the context of having cancer and her message to anyone who is faced with this diagnosis. This is one podcast you don't want to miss as Victoria sings a little song for us.
